This is a special dedication
to an instituition that started off with a humble beginning
and made its mark in its own outstanding way
by producing scholars and leaders;
moulding each and every one of its students into what they are today,
students who call this place their second home
to whom the school has gifted little
save memories
save passion and a willingness to learn
save a boundless respect for others and self
save a burning desire to prove ourselves
save those wonderful friends and teachers we met
save those precious moments of our lives
In short, it is a school like which none ever existed or will ever be born
It is Bukit Panjang Government High School (BPGHS)
As hard as it may seem to digest
news has spread like wildfire
the building that holds memories of generations after generations of Bpians
will be meeting its end soon
tears will flow
hearts will burn
chaos will arise
heads will turn
But there is something that we Bpians ought to let everyone know
that even if Nature's wildest forces were to destroy the physical aspects of BP
the BPian spirit will continue to live!
